Four players from BCC represented the Berlin regional representative team (BCK) in their win over the Hessen Cricket Association (HCV) in the 2009 German League Cup on May 10.
BCC1 captain Reuben Davies, Martin Haynes, André Leslie and Regan Ryan all flew the flag for BCC and helped Berlin get off to a successful start in their title defence. All BCC players acquitted themselves well in the tight game at Körnerplatz - which saw a remarkable 8-run victory for Berlin over a Hessen team with a number of national representatives. The Berlin representative side will now travel to Bonn on June 28 to take on NRWCU in the German League Cup final.
