Ellerbeck tears Archilles Heel Print E-mail

Volker Ellerbeck partially ruptured his left Archilles Heel tendon during the game on Sunday, 7th May against Hansa CC in Hamburg. He will not be available to play for 4-6 weeks. At present it is not yet clear whether Ellerbeck will need to undergo surgery. This is an unfortunate loss for the BCC as he was finding good batting form and already has a five-wicket haul under his belt this season including a hattrick.

The BCC wishes him all the best and hopes to see him back on the field soon.
