New players of all ages and abilities are always welcome at BCC, no matter your skill level or knowledge of the game we can fit you in.

We have players from all over the world (we even have a few German players!) playing across three teams : 1st XI, 2nd XI and T20.
The 1st XI play tough, competitive cricket against some very good teams throughout a 12 game league season with the top placed league team then qualifying for the national playoffs. BCC won the national title in 2010.
The 2nd XI is made up of players of all different ages and levels of ability. The games are more light-hearted but still competitive and no less enjoyable. The 2nd XI currently play in the Berlin 2nd division where the top team in the league is promoted each year.
The T20 team play the short form of the game in a round-robin style tournament with the top team again going into a national playoff. A mix of 1st and 2nd XI players make up the T20 team and the intensity of the games tends to vary from game to game, mostly it's typical 2020 style fast and furious fun.
The 2012 season will see all three teams move to a new ground at the rear of the historic Olympic Stadium. The two Notts pitches laid by experts from England, sight screens, net cage and, exclusive to BCC, bowling machine for training sessions make up some up the best cricket facilities in the whole of Germany.
Training takes place at the ground once a week and is usually followed by, as is the case with pretty much all the games, a few beers and some cricket chat at the local pub.
Whilst you certainly don't have to drink or join us in the pub to play for BCC, we are most definitely a very sociable club and the social aspect and diversity of the characters in the club is a big part of what makes it such a great thing to be involved in.
