Berlin Cricket Club

Vel victores vel victi, bibamus tamen!

Welcome to the BCC website

We have been playing cricket in Berlin since 1985. If you would like to watch or play cricket then please get in contact with us using our contact form .

Games take place most summer weekends and start at 11am at Körnerplatz, Hanns-Braun-Str. in Berlin-Charlottenburg and normally last until 6pm. The nearest underground station is U-Bahn Olympiastadion. For directions, click here.

Come along to one of our games and have a great day out. Our ground is also ideal for young children - no traffic and no dogs! Toilet facilities are available.

If you would like to play for us - or just come along to learn cricket - we train every Wednesday in summer from 5pm at the above address. All you need to bring is a pair of training shoes (no spikes) and sports clothing. Shower facilities are available. Special protective cricket equipment is supplied by the BCC.

Club Day 2010 Print E-mail

BCC celebrated it's annual club day again this last Wednesday at Berlin's Körnerplatz in the Olympiapark.

On what turned out to be a hot day for all concerned, a RED selection played against a BLACK selection at Körnerplatz.  RED battet first and were dismissed for 150 off 43 overs (Reuben 51, contributions from Richard C and guest player Richard D).  BLACK reached the target off about 27 overs for the loss of 4 wickets (Paddy 49, Andre 37, Ross 20odd).

A big thank you to BCC1 Captain Reuben Davies, Chairman Martin Haynes and Steffan Wendt for their organisational efforts on the day. Both BCC1 (Sat) and BCC2 (Sun) will be in action this weekend.  If you're not playing, try to get down to the ground to offer your support.
