BCC celebrated it's annual club day again this last Wednesday at Berlin's Körnerplatz in the Olympiapark.
On what turned out to be a hot day for all concerned, a RED selection played against a BLACK selection at Körnerplatz. RED battet first and were dismissed for 150 off 43 overs (Reuben 51, contributions from Richard C and guest player Richard D). BLACK reached the target off about 27 overs for the loss of 4 wickets (Paddy 49, Andre 37, Ross 20odd).
A big thank you to BCC1 Captain Reuben Davies, Chairman Martin Haynes and Steffan Wendt for their organisational efforts on the day. Both BCC1 (Sat) and BCC2 (Sun) will be in action this weekend. If you're not playing, try to get down to the ground to offer your support. |
